Trauma

Support for recovery

and resilience.

Understanding Trauma

Trauma refers to experiences that disrupt your sense of safety, trust, control, or understanding of the world. It may result from a single event or from repeated experiences that left you feeling unsafe or powerless. Over time, these experiences may change how you see yourself, others, and your community, sometimes leaving you feeling constantly on guard, guilty, ashamed, or believing the world is no longer safe.

At Arcana Mental Health, we understand that trauma isn’t defined only by what happened, but also by how it affects you afterwards. Therapy offers a supportive, structured space to process those experiences, rebuild belief systems that enhance your well-being, and rediscover more balanced ways of thinking, trusting, and living.

Our Approach to Trauma Therapy

Healing from trauma is possible with the right support and your commitment to the process. Our therapists provide a compassionate and safe setting where you can explore your experiences, develop coping skills, and strengthen emotional well-being.

Each therapist brings their own expertise and trauma-informed approach, ensuring that care is tailored to your individual goals and needs.
